CLIENT GOALS

Our client purchased an apartment in the only San Francisco high-rise building designed by American mid-century architectural icon, Joseph Eichler. The client was looking to remodel the space with a stylish and contemporary design that reflected her modern taste, while returning the apartment to its original mid-century design.

DESIGN SOLUTION

The remodel was a complete redesign of the three bedroom, two bathroom apartment.

In the living room, we created a stylish and contemporary design. Hardwood flooring and white walls give the space an open and bright feel.

The kitchen was fully remodeled and modernized. Now it features European style frameless custom cabinets in a white matte finish with pops of yellow from the Heath Ceramics bow tie tiles. New hardwood floors, quartz Silestone Altair countertops in the suede finish, and stainless steel hanging lighting fixtures add style. A Fischer & Paykel refrigerator adds to the modern feel and outstanding functionality in this space-efficient kitchen.

The master bathroom was updated with white custom vanity flat-panel cabinets with flush inset Hazel Mortise Italian cabinet pulls. A gray Silestone countertop was used with gray glass backsplash tile for a hint of modern and added touches of style with a Grohe Euphoria Cube faucet. A Possini Euro Design Sconce and Sfera pendant from Rejuvenation provide lighting.

The guest bathroom was also updated and now feature oversized simple white subway tiles in the bathtub/shower combo alone with Grohe Euphoria fixtures.

The outcome is an impeccably remodeled apartment with fine luxury details perfect for a high-style woman, with a busy lifestyle.
