Knitting needles and navy blue yarn

Knitting Together Architecture and Design

When she’s not on a build site or collaborating with clients on their home renovations, you might find Gina Centoni nestled in a cozy chair quietly knitting. In fact, Gina is a self-proclaimed “knitting addict”.

Naturally, when Gina recently came upon the ‘Invisible Jumpers’ series by @ninadoddknits and @josephfordphotography she was immediately captured by how this project brilliantly blends handcrafted knitwear into beautiful settings.

Gina’s own hand-crafted knitted creations span from pom-pom topped beanies, infinity scarves for dogs, tables runners, and ombre-hued sweaters.

I find inspiration each and every day in the myriad of designs and colors throughout San Francisco’s historic architecture and natural surroundings.

Creative practices help us unplug and unwind from our very technical and fast-paced lives.

What inspires you to make and create?
